Parents as Teachers launches revised teen curriculum and training, Partnering With Teen Parents, that aligns with the Foundational Curriculum and features enhancements in adolescent development and the parallel development needs of adolescents and young children, family well-being and parent-child interaction techniques. 
Parents as Teachers receives $3 million federal literacy grant
Parents as Teachers has received a $3 million grant from the U.S. Department of Education’s Innovative Approaches to Literacy Program. This substantial award will enable Parents as Teachers to improve literacy outcomes for 2,000 families with young children in select states.

Parents as Teachers is an approved home visiting model meeting the evidence-based criteria of the Maternal, Infant, Early Childhood Home Visiting program (MIECHV) and considered a promising approach for the Tribal Home Visiting Grantees.
