An Army National Guard recruit learns how to fire his rifle and protect himself during a Basic Combat Training (BCT) exercise.
Basic Training is ten weeks long. During this time, recruits begin Basic Rifle Marksmanship (BRM) with the M-16 rifle, and participate in more simulations as the training progresses.
