On Wakeup Wednesday, officer candidates meet their class drill instructor, who will be their guide through the 12 weeks of training to become officers. Wakeup Wednesday is the beginning of the rigorous physical and mental training that officers receive during their time at Officer Candidate School (OCS). Candidates are encouraged to prepare in the weeks before OCS for the challenge.
