Navy Reservists Train Before Deployment
Department of Defense

Navy reservists move into firing positions during a simulated improvised explosive device (IED) attack.

Navy reservists train once a month and receive the same training as active-duty servicemembers. They go through Boot Camp, but also have the benefit of merging the training they receive in civilian life with the skills they gain serving in the Navy Reserve.
