Recruits in the Air National Guard attend the same Basic Military Training as recruits in the active-duty Air Force. Basic Military Training lasts eight-and-a-half weeks and takes place at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas, while the length and location of technical training depends on a servicemember’s career.
