The 2009 Combined Federal Campaign is now officially complete. Donors were even more generous in 2009 than last year. Additionally, over 70 volunteer helpers were key to our success. Our total contributions, average contribution, and per-capita contribution all increased.
Here is how we did in 2008 compared to 2009 Total contributions increased from $246,752 to $359,815 in 2009 Donors increased from 744 to 913 Participation rate decreased from 29% to 25% Average contribution increased from $334 to $394 Per-capita contribution increased from $97 to $99
Our only goal for 2009 was 100% informed opportunity to give. But we were thrilled with a $99 per-capita contribution which is phenomenally high. The success of our campaign was just a wonderful verification of the generosity of our Africa Command Team.
This is how we contributed: 628 payroll deductions 213 cash/check donations 72 e-Pledge donations
Thank you Africa Command for your donations to CFC. Your generosity is making a world of difference.
LTC Victoria Swank, 2009 Africa Command CFC-Overseas Program Manager
Note: The Combined Federal Campaign is a federal program allowing U.S. government employees, military and civilian, to donate to the charities of their choice. The program is purely voluntary.
