OCE and the Federal Plain Language Guidelines   

OCE’s readers include the Secretary of Agriculture, members of Congress, producers, traders, investors, the media, and the public.  Our readers are either knowledgeable about or want to learn more about agricultural supply and demand issues and economic data , as well as climate change, renewable energy, risk assessment, agricultural labor affairs, and sustainability.  Although OCE does not directly provide any services or benefits to the public, OCE staff nevertheless strive to use plain language in all of our writings and adhere to the Federal Plain Language Guidelines.
