U.S. Army Signal Corps' Regimental Chief Warrant Officer Visits Stuttgart
Chief Warrant officer Todd Boudreau, U.S. Army Signal Corps' Regimental Chief Warrant Officer, visited senior communication leaders from U.S. European Command and U.S. Africa Command on October 22, 2010 to provide information on the future of the U.S. Army Signal Corps and to increase the awareness of the existing Warrant Officer Network. Chief Warrant Officer Pete Miller, U.S. Army Europe's Operation Communications Information Systems Operations Officer, accompanied Boudreau during his visit.
Col. Nickson. deputy director of AFRICOM's C4 Systems, hosted the discussions and provided Boudreau a brief overview of the C4 Systems Directorate. Furthermore, each C4 Systems division chief provided an overview of their division. Boudreau was very interested in C4 Systems' network development (Joint Enterprise Network) efforts and looks forward to future interactions with C4 Systems.
He personally engaged with all the C4 Systems division chiefs and the Army service members assigned to C4 Systems. A group photo was taken of Boudreau, Chief Warrant Officer Peter Winter, the C4 Systems Division Chiefs, and all the Army service members assigned to C4 Systems.
Both Boudreau and Winter were presented a copy of the photo by Chief Warrant Officer Eric Jackson. Boudreau mentioned that eventually each Combatant Command will be allocated a Chief Warrant Officer "5" billet. C4 Systems will receive a Chief Warrant Officer "4" or "5" as early as January 2011. The officer will be assigned to the Operations & Plans Division. Nickson thanked Boudreau for this support and wished him safe travels.
