Sometimes they would have their issued boots modified, and use the boots listed in training and missions. It would really depend on the situation. Dont always base quality on something because a manufacturer stamped Spec Ops on it.

I think you may be talking about the bates tora bora boot. Sorry, no pic. The team guys in my old unit used to wear them and the danner boots. Only out in the field though. Back on base you had to wear black jungle boots, or jump boots with our class a
