Security Assistance Management Manual (SAMM) Administrative Changes, DSCA Policy 07-42 [SAMM E-Change 94]

Effective immediately, the SAMM is updated with the administrative changes documented in the attachment. These are changes that do not warrant their own policy memoranda as they are being done to correct or update data of an administrative nature and do not have significant policy implications.

Administrative Changes

1. In REFERENCES, update (aw) to read:

   (aw)	Assistant Secretary of Defense (Networks and Information Integration) Document "Department of Defense Global Positioning System (GPS) Security Policy, Interim International Supplement" (For Official Use Only) 17

2. All references to the Deputy Under Secretary of Defense for Technology Security Policy and Counterproliferation (DUSD(TSP&CP)), by name or by acronym, are updated to reflect the new name and acronym, Deputy Under Secretary of Defense for Technology Security Policy and National Disclosure Policy (DUSD(TSP&NDP)).

3. In C4.T4., amend the listing for Government of Southern Sudan in the Combatant Command column from "EU" to "CE."

4. In C7.6.3.1., the reference to C3.5.4.5. is revised to C3.7.4.5.

5. In C8.8.3., the reference to Table C8.T5. is changed to read C8.T6.

6. In C9.T2, delete "C9.1.1." from the last paragraph in the "How Priced" column in the Administrative Surcharge row.

7. In C10.5.4.2., revise the second sentence to read:

   "This includes employees under contract to the MOD in support of an FMS program if approved by the Department of State, which may require a third party transfer approval as a prerequisite.

8. In Table C11.T23. MAP Accountability and Disposal Processes, Line 12, the reference to Table C8.T5. is changed to read C8.T6.

9. In C11.12.9.3., replace the final sentence with:

   "See Chapter 8, Table C8.T6., for an explanation of the calculation of net proceeds."

10. In AP1.T4. CATEGORY IV LAUNCH VEHICLES, GUIDED MISSILES, BALLISTIC MISSILES, ROCKETS TORPEDOES, BOMBS AND MINES, the price and date information should be replaced as follows:

    Launcher, MK41 Vertical Launching System (VLS) Non Standard Canister (N) (MK-13 Canister)

11. In Table AP4.T1., A - AIRCRAFT, enter an "X" in the Major Item column for generic codes A7A through A7E.

12. In Table AP4.T1., A - AIRCRAFT, delete "(MDE)" from the Remarks column of Row A7E.

13. In AP4.T2. B - MISSILES, under Generic Code B2M the Category/Description should be revised from "AGM-184" to "AGM-84."
