I am a blind traveler and strongly support the rights of the blind and visually
impaired people to have accessible audible crossings. I am in favor of the
PROWAC report. I am appalled that a minority of people who do not appreciate
this technology is attempting to prohibit the rest of us from utilizing audible
pedestrian crossings. Those people do not speak for the majority of blind and
visually impaired citizens in this country. I strongly urge you to do all that
is possible to allow this technology to make crossings far safer for all of us.
Thank you so much.
