Greetings from the Management and Staff of the Rock Island Arsenal Exchange. I would like to take this opportunity to invite all authorized Exchange customers to shop the Arsenal Exchange the next time you are in the area.

Rock Island Arsenal is the largest weapons manufacturing arsenal in the free world. Its ordinance tradition as a center of technical excellence of weaponry and related equipment was forged throughout the Arsenal's 130-year history.

Rock Island Arsenal is located on a 946-acre island, three miles long and approximately 3/4 of a mile wide, in the upper Mississippi River between Iowa and Illinois. During the Civil War, 13,000 Confederate Soldiers were incarcerated on the island. The Arsenal supported the Union during the Civil War, the Spanish-American War, WWI, WWII, Korea, Vietnam, and the Gulf War. It is a beautiful installation. Come visit and stop in the Exchange for a supply of film to take pictures of the sites. We can offer you a large assortment of retail items, snacks and military uniforms.

You may use the Military Star Card or any major credit card when shopping our retail facilities. If you don't have a Star Card you may apply for one while visiting your Exchange and receive 10% off your first days purchases. 

Your Exchange operates on funds generated through the sales of merchandise and services, not on tax dollars. Profits and earnings go directly back to our customers through contributions to the Fort McCoy Installation Morale, Welfare and Recreation Fund. All Guardsmen, Reservists and their families are authorized full, unlimited privileges in all the Exchange facilities by simply showing their proper identification.
