COFI 32 IUU side event

Network Chair Cephas Ralph will again participate in an IUU fishing-themed side event at the 32nd FAO-COFI meeting. Details: Thursday July 14, 2016 12:30-2:00 PM (Iran Room). Co-organizers: International MCS Network, UN Food and Agriculture Organization, International Seafood Sustainability Foundation (ISSF), Global Fishing Watch and the Pew Charitable Trusts.

3rd Stop IUU Fishing Award

The 3rd Stop IUU Fishing Award contest will open on January 1 and close in October 2017. The winners will be brought to the 6th Global Fisheries Enforcement Training Workshop (GFETW), tentatively scheduled for early-mid spring 2018 (host nation TBC). The winners of the 2nd contest were announced in March 2016 at the 5th GFETW in Auckland, New Zealand.
