Mission
The Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Clinical and Program Policy is responsible for directing all clinical policies and program implementation oversight for, but not limited to, the following: Standards and procedures that govern DoD clinical programs Clinical informatics, Medical standards for accessions and separations, Military public health, Women's health issues, Quality management, DoD health & fitness promotion, Medical ethics, Mental health policy, Patient advocacy, Graduate medical education programs, Patient Safety.
