There are a lot of benefits to applying early decision to Emory: not least, you'll know early about your college plans! It's a popular choice for our students: more than two in five students in this year's Emory College freshman class were admitted through an early decision option.

Prospective students who apply to Emory College by the first ED1 deadline will receive their decisions on Dec. 15; due to Hurricane Sandy, this deadline was extended to Nov. 5 overall and to Nov. 15 for students in impacted areas. The ED2 deadline is Jan. 1, 2013, with decisions released Feb. 15, 2013. We've put together a few links to make the application process easier. Emory College | Oxford College | Common application

Arts thrive with student, public interest

Emory Law alumnus C. Robert Henrikson and his wife, Mary, have given another $2.5 million in scholarship funding to help defray the costs of an Emory legal education for minority students. The Henriksons created a minority scholarship endowment at the law school 10 years ago. Their gifts are helping increase student diversity, which is a priority of Dean Robert Schapiro and a longstanding commitment of the law school. To recognize the couple's generosity, Emory's Black Law Students Association is honoring the Henriksons at its scholarship and awards reception in March, an annual event that also helps raise money for scholarships. | Campaign Emory
