Public Health Prevention Service
PHPS is a 3-year training and service fellowship for master’s level public health professionals. The fellowship focuses on public health program management and provides experience in program planning, implementation, and evaluation through specialized hands-on training and mentorship at CDC, and in state and local health organizations.
Hosting a PHPS Fellow
Does your organization wish to host and mentor a PHPS fellow?
As a service-oriented fellowship, we place PHPS fellows in 2-year assignments in public health organizations throughout the U.S. Our fellows have completed 1 year of training at CDC and are prepared to gain hands-on experience and mentoring in public health program management at the state and local level.
