Daily Treasury Guidance for Thursday, September 13, 2012

 
In the morning, Secretary Geithner will meet with Senator Mark Warner on Capitol Hill. This meeting is closed press.
 
Also on Thursday, Deputy Secretary Wolin will travel to Tunis, Tunisia, where he will meet with senior government officials to affirm the United States’ strong commitment to supporting Tunisia’s democratic transition and discuss the resources and expertise the United States and our international partners are providing to help Tunisia and other transitioning economies in the region.
 
In the afternoon, the Deputy Secretary will meet with Prime Minister Hamadi Jebali at the Prime Minister's office. He will also meet with Acting Finance Minister Slim Besbes at the Ministry of Finance and with Central Bank Governor Chedly Ayari at the Central Bank.  These meetings are closed press; there will be photo sprays at the top of each of these meetings. Interested media should contact the respective press offices for additional information.
 
Also on Thursday, Treasury will release its Monthly Treasury Statement at 2:00 PM EDT.
