NTSB SENDS TEAM TO INVESTIGATE RAILROAD ACCIDENT IN MINNESOTA

October 1, 2010

The National Transportation Safety Board has sent a team to investigate a head-on collision between two Canadian National freight trains in Two Harbors, Minnesota.  The accident occurred yesterday around 4:05 pm CDT.  Five crew members were injured in the accident.

NTSB investigator Jeff Leaman will serve as Investigator-in- Charge for the four member team.
