NTSB LAUNCHES TEAM TO INVESTIGATE TOUR BOAT COLLISION IN PHILADELPHIA; PRESS BRIEFING TONIGHT

The National Transportation Safety Board has launched a Go Team to investigate a collision involving a tour boat and a barge early this afternoon.�

Local officials have reported that 2 passengers are missing in the accident. Tom Roth-Roffy has been designated the Safety Board's Investigator-in-Charge.�Member Robert Sumwalt is accompanying the team and will serve as principal spokesman for the on-scene investigation.

Member Sumwalt will conduct a press briefing at 10:30 tonight at the Sheraton Society Hill, 1 Dock Street, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Keith Holloway is the press officer accompanying the team and can be reached at 202-557-1350.
