When can I get me and my family enrolled in insurance? Once I start drilling or when I go to Basic?

You can purchase Tricare Reserve Select coverage as soon as you obtain an ID card and are processed into the system. So even if you are awaiting a ship date and in the RSP you are eligible. If you have dependants you will have to enroll them into AD Tricare when you ship to BCT.
