Graphical depiction of the weather story for today.

Summer 2009 may end with record setting cold. A Canadian airmass will settle in over the area tonight sending temperatures into the lower to middle 40s. A few spots in the Wapsipinicon and Rock river valleys may even see temperatures as low as the upper 30s. These temperatures will be cold enough for some locations tie or break low temperatures records for August 31st.
