My Air My Health Challenge Exit EPA Disclaimer

EPA and the US Department of Health and Human Service are teaming up to present the My Air, My Health Challenge, a multidisciplinary call to innovators and software developers to develop personal air pollution and health sensors. Participants must submit a written proposal by October 5th 2012. We anticipate announcing the finalists the week of Nov. 12

For the fourth year running the EPA encouraged young innovators from around the world to apply science to environmental challenges. Thabit Pulak won this year's EPA Patrick H. Hurd Sustainability Award for his project "Home-Based Arsenic Bio-Sand Water Filter."
