Among others, the new Companies Act, new Banking Act, new Market and Financial Instrument Act, new Investments Trusts and Management Companies Act, and the whole new package of tax legislation was adopted in this period. Other important changes of relevant legislation in that time include newly adopted or substantially changed legislation regulating import procedures, mergers and acquisitions, public procurements and public-private partnership (PPP), employment of foreigners.
