LLL’s mission is to improve the educational success and career prospects for K-12 aged youth through school, business and community partnerships. All of LLL’s programs fit under at least one of the “Three Cs”: Career, College, and Community.

- Engaging more than 5,000 Vermont youth annually through the organization's programs and services
- Expanding LLL's mission and scope of work from one school district to serving children and youth regionally and across Vermont
- Transitioning from an informal collaboration to an independent 501(c)(3) non-profit organization
- Creating a sustainable infrastructure for helping young people prepare for life beyond high school
