Bandara Ngurah Rai International Airport Complies with Security Standards

Washington, D.C. – The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) today announced that the Bandara Ngurah Rai International Airport in Bali, Indonesia does not meet international security standards, and the department is taking action to warn travelers of this security deficiency. Based on an assessment by a team of security experts from TSA, the Department of Homeland Security has determined that the airport does not currently maintain security measures consistent with the standards established by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO).

Newly Graduated Explosives Detection Canine Teams to Help Secure Aviation, Mass Transit

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) announced today the graduation of 12 new members of its National Explosives Detection Canine Team Program (NEDCTP). The teams will be assigned to airports in Los Angeles; Cleveland; Phoenix; Tulsa, Okla.; Greensboro, N.C.; and Little Rock, Ark., and mass transit systems in Boston (Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority), Philadelphia (Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority) and Baltimore (Maryland Transit Administration).
