Faculty and Curriculum Development

Faculty participate in a workhop
The Academy works in partnership with colleges, universities, and community colleges around the country to develop regional seminars and workshops that are geared to college faculty and, at times, secondary school teachers. The seminars are designed to help participants attain a greater understanding of peace and conflict issues, as well as enhance their teaching skills and strategies. The program's activities emphasize case studies, experiential learning, and shared curriculum exercises and resource analysis.

College and University Programs

The Academy regularly conducts regional seminars and workshops around the country that are geared to faculty at the college, university, and community college levels. While the seminars are aimed at both a substantive and pedagogical discussion of incorporating conflict studies in the classroom, each seminar is tailored to the needs and interests of the participating faculty and educational institutions. | Learn more about past programs
