Neighborhood
Networks is about empowering residents of HUD FHA-insured and -assisted
housing communities to succeed. It is about providing people with
the workforce development and academic programs they need to compete
in today's digital world. And it is about placing technology at
the fingertips of all Americans regardless of where they live or
how much they earn.
Since
its inception in 1995, Neighborhood Networks estimates that thousands
of people have turned to their local Neighborhood Networks center
to enhance their computer skills, advance their careers, achieve
greater academic success, and connect to opportunities and their
community.
Neighborhood
Networks believes that residents are the building blocks of every
community, and that successful, independent residents create strong
and prosperous communities. It is this belief that drives Neighborhood
Networks to strengthen communities, one neighbor at a time.
