Goals

Physical Domain Outcome Goals

Graduates must:

  1. demonstrate the knowledge, skills and abilities to promote and maintain personal and unit fitness for themselves and their soldiers
  2. demonstrate the courage needed to accomplish challenging physical tasks
  3. demonstrate a personal and professional commitment to participation in sports and physical activity  
  4. live a balanced and healthy lifestyle
  5. understand the impact of adversity and how to implement measures to reduce stress

Physical Program Outcome Goals

Graduates must demonstrate:

  1. knowledge, skills and abilities to promote and maintain personal and unit fitness for themselves and their soldiers.
  2. moral-ethical attributes essential for effective leadership.
  3. physical and mental courage needed to accomplish challenging tasks and preserver in adverse conditions.
  4. personal and professional commitment to participation in sports and physical activity throughout their military career.

Core Instructional Outcome Goals

Graduates must demonstrate:

  1. proficiency in a wide range of movement skills with a focus on military applications.
  2. knowledge of the principles and applications of physical fitness to personal and unit fitness. 
  3. a level of physical fitness commensurate with expectations for cadets.
  4. physical and mental courage to accomplish difficult tasks in fearful situations.
  5. knowledge and skills of recreational and competitive activities to promote lifetime participation.
