The Office of the Chief Information Officer is responsible for managing NCUA's automated information resources. This includes: collecting, validating and securely storing electronic agency information; developing, implementing and maintaining computer hardware, software and data communications infrastructure; and ensuring related security and integrity risks are recognized and controlled.
Chief Information Officer -- Ronnie Levine
Ronnie Levine is NCUA’s Chief Information Officer (CIO). As CIO, she is responsible for the strategic direction, implementation, management, security and control of NCUA's information processing and technology resources.
Ms. Levine joined NCUA in 2012 after serving as the CIO for the Department of the Interior, Bureau of Land Management. Prior to that, Ms. Levine served as the CIO for the Department of Transportation, Maritime Administration and as CIO for the Washington, D.C., Office of the Attorney General. Ms. Levine also spent several years at the Department of Defense performing various technology roles for the Defense Logistics Agency and the Joint Chiefs of Staff.
Ms. Levine holds a master's degree in Business Administration and graduated from Virginia State University with a bachelor's degree in Information Systems.
