The best way to keep up with what is happening at the Center for Faith-based and Neighborhood Partnerships at the U.S. Department of Education is to subscribe to our email list or follow us on Twitter or Facebook. Or you can add an RSS feed to your browser.

In particular, we want to highlight and celebrate examples of partnerships between community-based organizations and schools that help improve low-achieving schools. We also want to hear about how faith and community organizations are helping to build a culture of high expectations and support for education.

Please share with us in the discussions section of our Facebook page a one paragraph description of your work with a link where people can learn more. Tell us how your efforts are generating key student outcomes for school improvement: increased attendance, improved academic performance and engagement in school, and increased desire for and access to postsecondary education. We’ll select one or more example each week to highlight on the wall of our Facebook page!

News about the White House Office of Faith-based and Neighborhood Partnerships is posted on the White House blog. We also post items on the Department of Education Blog.
