To think we can have a multi-national combat aircrew after the Cold War. I wonder how long it will be before a multi-sexuality combat aircrew is acceptable. I hope not very long.

This is a story that deserves the widest possible distribution -- to think that Sweden and Lithuania could be working together with the U.S. in a combat deployment is staggering. For one who served during large parts of the Cold War, the implications are enormous. To think that they would be flying in this international unit as a crew has tremendous implications for the future. Our NATO experience has allowed us to incorporate these operations into our tactics and this implies that tremendous strides are possible in the future. Perhaps we can work together to solve the problems of our planet after all. Perhaps we can pool our resources and support our democratic way of life. Way to go!
