Wreaths Across America
Hundreds gathered to lay wreaths on the tombstones of those who have served our country during the Wreaths Across America ceremony Dec. 11, 2010, at Fort Jackson National Cemetery in Columbia, S.C. The ceremony was held to remember our veterans who have passed and honor those who are serving and have served. The ceremony included a memorial presentation, World War II wreath laying, recognition of prisoners of war, those still missing in action and Merchant Marines, a salute by a cannon battery and buglers.
