Jon Dudas, Under Secretary of Commerce for Intellectual Property and Director of the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, will be joined by U.S. Congressman Paul Ryan (R-WI) to present the Commerce Department’s Economic Development Administration (EDA) investment check in the amount of $125,270 to the Racine County Economic Development Corporation and the Center for Advanced Technology and Innovation in Sturtevant, WI.

EDA serves as a venture capital resource to meet the economic development needs of distressed communities throughout the United States. EDA’s mission is to lead the federal economic development agenda by promoting innovation and competitiveness, and preparing American regions for growth and success in the worldwide economy.
