Pediatrics
A wide range of complementary health approaches are used for children, including herbs and dietary supplements, massage, acupuncture, and chiropractic care. Children are not small adults, however, and their bodies can react differently from adults' bodies to medical therapies. In general, complementary approaches have not been well studied in children. Tell your child's health care providers about any complementary or alternative approach you are considering or using for your child.
