The NWS Storm Prediction Center is forecasting a risk of severe thunderstorms Thursday afternoon and evening for parts of the central and southern High Plains, including parts of southeastern Colorado, northeastern New Mexico, southwestern Kansas, western Oklahoma and the Texas Panhandle.
