'Fort Bliss' film seeking extras for homecoming scene

The production team filming the upcoming feature film "Fort Bliss" is looking for "extras" to volunteer their time to appear in a homecoming scene.

For the scene, the production team needs extras to serve as soldiers who have just returned from Afghanistan to march through the doors and family members running up to greet them with hugs and kisses.

Soldiers -- either active, guard or reserve -- and anyone else wanting to be an extra should meet at the Arrival and Departure Airfield, or ADACG, at 8 a.m. on Oct. 7.

All uniformed soldiers wishing to appear in the film must be in full compliance with all army

regulations on grooming and appearance. Civilians should dress in attire appropriate for a military homecoming.
