The Census Bureau is proud to have been on the leading edge in using social media and web tools to promote the 2010 Census. Many examples of our efforts are featured on this page, along with other more traditional promotional materials. Stay tuned here as we will continue to produce updated materials to promote all our various data programs and products.
2010 Congressional Apportionment Countdown Clock
Incorporate the 2010 Congressional Apportionment Countdown Clock into your website to help share the importance of census participation. The first data released from the 2010 Census are the official national and state population count, which are used to apportion seats in the US House of Representatives. As mandated by the US Constitution, this data must be delivered to the President of the United States by the US Census Bureau on or before December 31, 2010.
