The Geothermal Technologies Program (GTP) partners with industry, academia, and research facilities to further the development of geothermal energy technologies. Competitive solicitations issued as Funding Opportunity Announcements (FOAs) are the principal mechanism used to contract for cost-shared research, development, and demonstration projects.
