- Today we held a ceremony on the Capitol steps in remembrance of September 11, 2001. As we prayed with the House Chaplain, I said a prayer for all those who lost their lives on that day, as well as all of the brave men and women in our Armed Services who have lost their lives or have been wounded in the global war against terror. We will never forget.
