An Exercise Story
I'm a 67-year-old energetic woman with four children and four grandchildren. I've exercised all of my adult life. I enjoy many athletic activities, including running, biking, aerobics, in-line skating, and weight/strength training. I joined a marathon training program in 1998, and I've been running 26.2-mile marathons and other shorter races ever since. I've won many age group awards in the races I've participated in. Many of the young women I train with have told me that I'm in better shape and condition than most of the runners who are half my age! They tell me that I'm their inspiration.
