Work/Life Programs
The Service strives to be an employer of choice and, as such, offers a variety of exciting programs to promote work/life issues among our employees. Specifically, the following are programs available to employees:- Telework – allows employees to work at an alternative work site
- Fitness Center Reimbursement Program – allows employees to receive reimbursement for fees at a fitness center of their choice
- Financial Planning Reimbursement Program – allows employees to receive reimbursement for fees for the services of a personal financial planner of their choice
- Transportation Subsidy Program – provides employees with up to $110 a month for public and mass transit
- Professional Liability Insurance Reimbursement Program – allows eligible employees to receive reimbursement for professional liability insurance fees
- Employee Assistance Program (EAP) – provides employees with a confidential and comprehensive program that helps resolve their personal concerns, such as:
- Emotional Issues
- Relationship Issues
- Family Issues
- Alcohol Issues
- Job Concerns
- Financial Issues
- Legal Issues
In addition to telework, management can also authorize a variety of work schedule options, including maxiflex and compressed work schedules, to accommodate employee work/life needs, as long as the mission of the Service is still accomplished.
