DoDEA Schools to Adopt Common Core State Standards

Adopting the Common Core State Standards (CCSS) will benefit DoDEA's highly mobile student population which moves frequently between public schools and DoDEA schools. Learn more in the DoDEA press release.

Cold Weather -

There is a chill in the air and our students need protection.  Parents please help you student/s to dress appropriately for school.  Because we do live in Georgia and the weather can warm during the day so we suggest layers, the children can then make themselves comfortable throughout the day. Please see the counselor if you need to supplement your child’s wardrobe.

DoDEA welcomes feedback on our progress thus far in drafting the 2012-2016 CSP from DoDEA employees, parents, students, and the Department of Defense (DoD) community (educators in military-connected school districts, the military community, etc.).  Your input will be used to make final revisions to the CSP and to ensure it reflects the knowledge and beliefs of the worldwide DoDEA community.
