The U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service is pleased to announce that the 2012 Federal Duck Stamp Art Contest will be held on September 28 and 29 in Ogden, Utah. The Contest will take place in Ballroom B of the Shepherd Union on the Weber State University campus. A panel of five judges will be responsible for choosing the art work that will be used to design the 2013-2014 Migratory Bird Hunting and Conservation Stamp. This will be the nation's 80th "Duck Stamp" and will be a celebration of one of the world's best wetland habitat conservation programs. Viewing of the art work and judging process is free and open to the public. Associated side events are also being planned to provide information about the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service, natural resources found in the area, and history of the Duck Stamp Program. Purchases of Duck Stamp have raised over 850 million dollars to help protect and conserve over 5.5 million acres of wetlands and grasslands for wildlife habitat.
