• Water Works Series: “The Great Salt Lake: What’s it Worth” - Uses of the Great Salt Lake provide over $1.3 billion in economic output to the state of Utah. Sponsored by Weber State University Environmental Initiatives Committee this panel discussion will explore the worth of the Great Salt Lake.

• Junior Duck Stamp Program - Artwork on display from previous Utah and National Junior Duck Stamp contest winners. Art supply packets and curriculum available for teachers interested in bringing the Junior Duck Stamp Program to their youth group or classroom.

• Utah Philatelic Society - Come learn about stamp collecting and the history of Duck Stamps through the Utah Philatelic Society's displays. Boy Scout Stamp Collecting Merit Badge assistance will be available and there will be stamp collecting activities for students of all ages.

• 2012 Federal Duck Stamp Art Contest Judging - View the judging by our panel of experts, in person.
  • Audience: All ages are invited, however please be advised that we ask for silence from the audience within the judging room
  • When: Friday, September 28 and Saturday, September 29. Exhibits open to the public at 9:00 am. Opening ceremonies begin at 10:00 am each day and are usually completed by 2:30 pm on Friday and 1:00 pm on Saturday.
  • Where: Art work viewing will take place in Ballroom A and the judging will take place in Ballroom B, Shepherd Union, Weber State University.

• Wildlife Movie Marathon - We will be viewing the following four films: Duck! (a duckumentary); Wings of Thunder; Lake Effect; and Winged Migrations
