Revision to the Quarterly Coal Report (QCR) 1st Quarter 2012

The Energy Information Administration has revised historic data for all four quarters of 2010 and 2011. The change reduced the 2010 and 2011 receipts, consumption, and stocks data for U.S. manufacturing, as well as data reported for Texas and the West South Central Census Division. The following tables have been changed to reflect our revision:

• Table 29. Average Price of U.S. Coal Receipts at Manufacturing Plants by North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code
• Table 32. U.S. Coal Consumption by End-Use Sector, 2006-2012
• Table 34. Coal Consumption at Other Industrial Plants by Census Division and State
• Table 35. U.S. Coal Consumption at Manufacturing Plants by North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code
• Table 37. U.S. Coal Stocks, 2006-2012
• Table 39. Coal Stocks at Other Industrial Plants by Census Division and State
• Table 40. U.S. Coal Stocks at Manufacturing Plants by North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code
• Table 43. Average Quality of Coal Received at Manufacturing and Coke Plants by Census Division and State.
