Massachusetts SADD Student Advisory Board Applications Available
Massachusetts SADD would like to announce the return of the Student Advisory Board and let you know that scholarship applications are now available!
The Massachusetts SADD Student Advisory Board (SAB) is a statewide youth forum working in partnership with Massachusetts SADD to plan statewide events and provide feedback on programming.
Click here for the application instructions and click here for the SAB application. Current freshman, sophomores and juniors may apply and SADD advisors can nominate up to two students per school for consideration.
The SAB has been a rewarding experience in the past for members and their respective SADD chapters and we look forward to resuming such a great leadership opportunity.
Applications are due back to SADD by Friday, May 25th so don’t delay in passing this opportunity along to your students. If you have any questions, please contact Robin at rhounslow@sadd.org.
Free Prom and Graduation Season Kit
As you may know, the weeks prior to prom and graduation are perfect time for student leaders and advisors to educate the community and discuss the school’s alcohol and drug use policy. SADD has created a FREE prom and grad kit that can be used to promote a safe prom and graduation season.
Thanks to funding from the MA Department of Public Health Bureaus of Substance Abuse Services, we would like to offer you this kit at no cost! The will only be available on a first come first serve basis, so don’t delay! Contact Robin at rhounslow@sadd.org to order your kit today.
MA SADD is now on Facebook!
MA SADD has a Facebook page that is a great source for news, information, and the ability to hear from others. The page was started in an effort to connect with SADD students on a regular basis and to give them an outlet to share their thoughts and opinions. You can also find event information, photos from previous events, and more. Please ask your SADD chapter students to “like” the page and share it with their friends.
