Type 3 IMT Training Curriculum News
The revised Type 3 IMT training curriculum (O305) will be available on April 1, 2012. Utilizing over two years of student evaluations and feedback from national subject matter experts, including the National Wildfire Coordinating Group, this updated curriculum provides students with knowledge and capabilities to build IMTs at the local, state, and tribal levels. Delivered over five days, the revised format will include:
- Enhanced scenarios adaptable to the locale,
- Integrated use of the Planning P DVD within the development of an Incident Action Plan, and
- Emphasis on team dynamics, leadership, and decision making.
