The Air We Breathe
Posted by Dan Burton on March 20, 2007
I believe in the importance of clean air. I also believe that all Americans have a duty to help keep the air we breathe clean, not only for ourselves, but for children and our grandchildren. Preserving our environment, and the air that we breathe, depends a lot on personal responsibility (like not littering, and not using substances known to harm the air) but it also depends upon government at all levels, federal, state and local, to enact laws that responsibly balance the needs of business with the needs of the environment.
By acting responsibly now we can all help to ensure that this planet retains its natural resources, beauty and ability to sustain human life for many generations to come. Toward that end, you can rest assured that I will continue to support policies that promote efficient energy technologies.
