Office of the Assistant Secretary for Health
The Office of the Assistant Secretary for Health (OASH), part of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, oversees 14 core public health offices, including the Office of the Surgeon General and the U.S. Public Health Service Corps, as well as 10 regional health offices across the nation and 10 Presidential and Secretarial advisory committees. Component offices of the OASH support many initiatives, campaigns, and programs that promote the goals of public health. Many of these offices address HIV/AIDS, including:
