OLMS-Trustee Workshop |
| Description: |
The OLMS Minneapolis Resident Office will conduct a workshop for all interested union trustees, audit committee members, staff, and other interested union officials. The workshop will familiarize trustees with the OLMS publication entitled Conducting Audits in Small Unions: A Guide for Trustees, which features a 10-step audit designed to help trustees carry out their responsibilities. Additionally, participants will be provided an opportunity, through a series of exercises involving financial records from a fictitious union, to see how the skills and techniques discussed in the Guide should be applied in “real-world” situations. |
