OSAC Hosts Meetings on ASPIRE Mentoring Program for High Schools, Community-based Organizations, and Precollege Programs
OSAC is hosting meetings statewide for high schools, precollege programs, and community-based nonprofit organizations serving high school youth that may have an interest in how the state’s ASPIRE program can help enhance postsecondary access and support for students. Partnership grants are available for eligible sites. Click here for more

College-bound students looking for ways to pay for college should consider applying very soon for scholarships administered by the Oregon Student Assistance Commission. Vicki Merkel, Scholarship and Access Program Manager for the Oregon Student Assistance Commission, has been appointed the president of the National Association of State Grant and Aid Programs (NASSGAP). Her appointment is from October 2010 through September 2011. Click here for more

OSAC ANNOUNCES JOSETTE GREEN AS EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
(OSAC) announced that Josette Green has accepted the position of executive director to oversee the administration of a wide range of federal, state, and private financial aid programs to help Oregonians pay for post-secondary education. Click here for more

The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act
